Tragoedia

Definitely one amazing card. It has up to 3600 ATK and DEF with no supporting cards. It is rather easy to summon because it special summons itself from your hand when you take battle damage. It can dodge stall cards like Gravity Bind and Level Limit - Area B because it can change it level, also making for easy Xyz summons. A underused effect of Tragoedia, which in my opinion is the most powerful of its effects, is the effect which states that you can discard a monster, and then take control of a monster on the field with the same level FOREVER! Take control of a Black Luster Soldier by discarding a Grapha, Dragon Lord of the Dark World to pop something on their side of the field as well. Tragoedia, a power house which is semi-limited, so you can have two in a deck makes it almost essential to many decks.

Master Hyperion

Hailed as one of the best bosses in the game, Master Hyperion is a card which is ultra-easy to summon and whose effect lets you pop two cards of the field each turn without losing any advantage.  Being LIGHT and Fairy, Hyperion has many support cards, including Agent of Mystery - Earth which, because it is a agent can summon Hyperion, and it searches Hyperion too if a Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field. Hyperion builds are not very common because of the archetype that it supports, the Agents, which tend to be slow unless a deck is built properly. But, an easy way to build a Hyperion deck is to get 3 Lost Sanctuary structure decks which have a Hyperion and the important agents in it. Overall Hyperion is a fun card to use.

Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon Combo

A combo that uses Red-Eyes Zombie DragonZombie World, and Mage Power. After activating  Zombie World, you might want to activate Field Barrier to protect it. Then Summon Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon. Equip  Mage Power to it so it will gain 1000 ATK even if you do not use Field Barrier to protect it. This will add to a massive 3400 ATK at the least. Then each time you destroy your opponents' monsters, which are all ZOMBIE due to Zombie World, and so you can Special Summon it to your side of the field. Notice that it says can and not just special summon it. This means you can CHOOSE if you want to Special Summon it. So you can Special summon many epic monsters from you opponents' side of the field, even their boss monsters, so this is an epic combo

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of Beginning

One of the best cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG and defiantly in my top 10. Especially easy for chaos decks,
To Special Summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, all you have to do is banish one LIGHT and one DARK monster in your graveyard. With 3000 ATK, its a beat-down monster, but, it brings along a great effect. Once per turn, you can either banish (remove from play) one face-up monster on the field (at the cost of not attacking that turn) or, you can attack twice in one turn making it devastating if you destroy a monster then deal 3000 direct Battle Damage.

Its first effect is also really powerful against many of the current meta-decks, because it banishes, not send to the graveyard or destroy.

ATK- 10/10
DEF- 8/10
Ease of Summon- 6/10
Effect-9/10
Overall-9/10

Blue-Eyes White Dragon Combo

Its a great combo involving Blue-Eyes White DragonMaiden with Eyes of Blue, and Azure Eyes Silver Dragon. First, you start with summoning a  Maiden with Eyes of Blue. Then, when you opponent targets it for an attack, you negate the attack, summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon and wait until your turn begins. During Main Phase 1, Synchro Summon Azure Eyes Silver Dragon, wait for next Standby Phase and then Special Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the graveyard, leaving 2 monsters on the field : one with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF and another with 2500 ATK and 3000 DEF and a really great effect.

VARIATION
First, you start with summoning a  Maiden with Eyes of Blue. Then, when you opponent targets with Spell/Trap card effect, summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon and activate Call of the Haunted or a similar card. During your turn's Main Phase 1, Synchro Summon Azure Eyes Silver Dragon, wait for next Standby Phase and then Special Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the graveyard.

Fire King Combo - When You Have No Monsters

Fire King Combo - When You Have No Monsters

I feel that this combo is one of the best comebacks in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game. The objective of  this combo is to destroy all your opponents monsters, spells and traps leaving him wide open. For the combo to correctly we working you have to have Goblindbergh and Hand of Nephthys in your hand and Onslaught of the Fire Kings set or in your hand.
To start off the combo, you activate Onslaught of the Fire Kings. Note that you must have no monsters on your side of the field to activate it. Due to its effect, you will special summon  Fire King High Avatar Garunix and destroy it in the End Phase. After you have special summoned Garunix, summon Goblindbergh, change it to Defense position to special summon Hand of Nephthys.
Then, due to Hand of Nephthys' effect Tribute them both to special summon Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys from your hand or deck. In the End Phase, Garunix is destroyed. During your opponent's Standby Phase, Garunix is special summoned from the graveyard destroying all other monsters on the field , including the Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and all your opponents' monsters.
After your opponent ends his turn and you draw, the Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is also special summoned from the grave destroying all Spells and Traps on the field (yours and your opponents).  Now your opponent has nothing on the field, which means you deal him 5100 direct damage. Or, he could have Set one monster meaning the most you could have dealt him would be 2700 Life Point Damage.

Tips:

  • Try not to have any Spells or Traps on the Field when doing this combo

Number C39 Utopia Ray V is the second Chaos version of Number 39 Utopia. Its a Rank 5 monster that is traditionally summoned with Rank-Up Magic Limited Barian's Force  or  Rank-Up Magic Numeron Force  due to the difficulty of getting 3 Level 5 monsters on the field at the same time. Its 2600 ATK is not the highest, but it cannot be destroyed with non-number monsters in battle. When the card is destroyed by an opponent's card when it is on the owner's side of the field (either by battle or by card effect), it can target a XYZ monster in the graveyard and return it to the Extra Deck. You can do this to send the XYZ monster this card used as an XYZ Material  (Preferably the base monster. For Ex: You summon Utopia, then C39 Utopia Ray, then C39  Utopia Ray V.  So in this case you would send back Utopia to your extra deck.)

When you use a 'Utopia' monster as an XYZ Material it gains this effect.--"One per turn, you can detach one XYZ Material from this card, Then target one monster your opponent controls; destroy that monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK on the field."--

With this effect you can knock out cards like Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Super Conductor Tyranno while dealing massive damage to your opponent.

  • ATK- 8/10
  • DEF- 8/10 I gave higher rankings to ATK and DEF because it cannot be destroyed by non-number monsters.
  • Ease of Summon- 6/10 (Little higher because of the Rank-Up Spells)
  • Effect- 9/10
  • Overall- 8/10
